As a HUD Occupancy Specialist at Wavecrest Management we are asking for a candidate who has experience in HUD Project-Based Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Projects to join our growing, dynamic Compliance Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and professional candidate who has the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in an office environment.
What you’ll do:
o Process recertification for both Section 8 and LIHTC units
o Interview applicants
o Prepare leases for new and existing applicants
o Maintain wait list and prepare tenant files for management reviews
o Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requisites:
o High School Diploma
o Experience in HUD Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC
o Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
o Strong mathematical skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
