Work hard in the summer and take time off in the winter. We work from March - October. Employees can go on attached unemployment in the winter months. Four uninterrupted months not working allows you the opportunity to pursue the things you love in an in-depth manner. It’s like a summer vacation from school and it says so much about what we at Water Ketch Sprinkler value. It’s not about working your whole life.

We’re a small company that has stayed in business for 38 years repairing sprinkler systems by improving every year and keeping up with technology and innovation. While we don’t allow smoking in company vehicles or on job sites, we do allow laughing, storytelling, and brainstorming.

Who you are…

You love the outdoors. You’re creative and love music and art. You like to build things, work with tools, and while you may steer clear of fluorescent lighting, you’re not a stranger to the workings of computers and have internet access. You’re a Renaissance Person who loves to read and write but can also work physically digging holes in the hot sun or on a cold day. You have a knack for observation and can solve problems using logic and creativity. With a driven attitude, you have a rebellious lifelong love of learning.

In the practical department, you own transportation, have a valid driver’s license, have a traceable work history, haven’t been convicted of a violent or sex crime, and speak fluent English.

Lead Tech applicants: We are looking to fulfill lead techs as point persons in the following areas. If you have a speciality in these areas please include it on your resume or in your cover letter:

Landscape and Irrigation System Design-- I have more than three years and/or credentials/reference regarding landscape and/or sprinkler system design.

Bilingual (both for team and customer Interface)-- I can communicate effectively and persuasively in Spanish

Bidding and Estimates-- I can produce competitive and accurate bidding and estimation on installations, renovations, large or small repair.

Contract Client Property Management-- I have at least two years of experience with inspections, running work orders and operations, as well as communication with commercial/ HOA contract clients (this may also include experience with residential clients of very large and/or complicated systems).
