Tour Guide/Driver

Work in a fun atmosphere conducting small group van tours.

Who We Are- We are a local start-up tour guiding company that provides van and e-bike sightseeing tours around Austin. Our van tours are in a medium-roof Ford Transit 12-passenger van and are 2.5 - 4 hours long.

About the position- We are looking to hire an experienced local tour guide to create a personalized tour on our designated route to enhance travelers' experience while visiting our beautiful city. You will be both a driver and guide for this position. Since we are a start-up company, we are looking for a guide with prior experience as an Austin guide and available throughout the week and always available on Fri, Sat, and Sun.

Local expert or history buff: Do you have a degree in history or dream of telling stories about the buildings or local culture? Then we encourage you to send us a resume.

RELIABILITY AND AVAILABILITY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL TO HAVE FOR THIS POSITION.

The Perfect Candidate-

• Available to work 3-4 shifts per week
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (must have no accidents or speeding tickets in the last 35 months)
• Experienced local guide
• Friendly and personable
• Speaks fluent English- (Second language is a plus)
• Weekend availability
• People-person, public speaker, or a good storyteller
• Self-sufficient and responsible
• Ability to learn about tourist destinations and provide a solid tour of the city on a 2.5-hour tour

What You Receive -

• $16-$20 hourly plus tips- Our tour takes about 3-4 hours to complete, and you can expect about a tip of 5 dollars per person.

Salary: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

• 4-hour shift
