At the earliest possible start date, we are currently looking for a:

Information Technology Administrator

Role Purpose:

Support all I.T. functions including hardware & software troubleshooting, maintenance, peripheral equipment, communications, and data security for the site facility. Support I.T. manager and business technology projects.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Install, configuring, and maintaining PC's, printers and phone system
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware - work with users to resolve hardware issues
  • Install and configure software - application and operating system
  • Troubleshoot software issues - work with users to resolve software issues
  • Maintain helpdesk software system - hardware inventory, software inventory
  • Maintain user network access based on company guidelines
  • Maintain user building access
  • Maintain antivirus software ensuring PC's and phone system are kept up to date
  • Maintain system backups
  • Manage company network of hardware, software, communications and security.
  • Ensure compliance with WPG I.T. standards/policies as well as federal/state regulatory requirements
  • Provide 24/7 support in absence of I.T. Manager
  • Support functional I.T. development/design projects on timely basis

  • Ability to read (and listen), analyse, and interpret program specifications including interpreting programming request from non-IS professionals.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
  • Strong ability to solve logic problems, apply reasoning, and to be able to break down a large system or program into stand-alone components.
  • Self-directed with effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work within a global growing organization.
  • Must have strong oral and written English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and innovative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Computer science or business-related degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 3 years of I.T. related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
