* Represent Walser Insurance Services in a positive and professional manner * Ensure a positive customer experience * Practice a consistent customer service process, as outlined in the agency procedure manual, when: Answering calls, managing underwriting documents, auditing newly written policies, cross selling new products and performing outbound calls to retrieve missing information. * Maintain above average level of customer service skills to maintain high retention of current policy holders by adhering to the following: welcoming new customers to agency, answering emails/calls in a timely fashion, uncovering saving opportunities, asking for referrals, sending out birthday and thank you cards as well as making cancellation calls due to non-payment. * Perform household annual reviews for purposes of updating the customer file and foster customer relationships by offering additional insurance protection with changes in customers’ needs * Offering financial reviews and setting appointments for our customers with a life licensed sales staff * Manage customer claim experience from start to completion * Adhere to established agency policies and procedures regarding customer solicitation * Update daily logs and spreadsheets for agency * Maintain a high level of detail when documenting customer files * Main contact for technical issues regarding software * Assist director in onboarding, mentoring and training customer service representatives * Assist director in onboarding licensed sales representatives * Assist director in regulating and tracking agencies compliance and best practices * Keep active insurance license(s), P&C & L&H * Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values * All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned Minimum Requirements
* 3+ years customer service/sales experience * 1+ years Allstate specific insurance experience * Successfully complete the MN P&C & L&H exam within 60 days of hire * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Multitask and use of various computer applications Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
