Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will establish our marketing campaign and run with it! The perfect fit for this position has a passion for marketing and is a reliable, consistent, and outgoing professional with a can-do attitude and an exceptional eye for detail. This role combines marketing strategy, administrative support, and design elements to create and update our company print and electronic collateral. This person will be designing and creating marketing materials from scratch including flyers, proposals, and marketing packages for our clients, potential investors, and recruitment campaigns. He/she must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

  1. Work with each of our leadership team to develop and achieve our marketing objectives.

  2. Social Media content creation, content calendar development, and community management for Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter

  3. Manage website management

  4. Promote brand awareness campaign.

  5. Manage content writing and video editing: create marketing campaigns for our different audiences (clients, investors, tenants, and recruitment)

  6. Gather and track marketing data and make data-driven marketing decisions.

  7. Manage the marketing and the contest for the company’s Essay Contest for a Free Apartment (

  8. Document company culture and history through storytelling, hashtags, videos, etc.

  9. Create building signage for buildings managed by Walls Property Management.

  10. Organize marketing events and materials.

  11. Providing training to staff members on marketing tools when needed.

  12. Research and understand competition in market to develop unique campaigns.

  13. Attends trade shows, community fairs, and other events as a company representative.

  14. Design modern, graphically appealing, on trend deliverables.

  15. Company expert on how to promote, display, and sell our products and services.

  16. Other projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher education.

  2. Demonstrated success with marketing campaigns.

  3. 2+ years of experience social media and digital marketing.

  4. 2+ years of experience in video editing, editorial writing, and content editing.

  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office & GSuite.

  6. Graphic Design experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Knowledge of marketing language used in real estate.

  2. Portfolio of work samples.

  3. Proficient with Google adwords and SEO

  4. Experience with web design.

  5. Appfolio Experience



Supervisory Responsibility:

The position does not have direct reports.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.

Physical Demands:

This role is largely sedentary, but does require standing and bending to operate filing cabinets.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, 40 hours per week.


Occasional local travel is expected for this position.
