Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Global Brand Marketing Manager- Wahl Professional at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

SUMMARY

The Global Brand Marketing Manager - Wahl Professional responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for major initiatives, implementing activation across global markets, and leading a global go-to-market process for new product launches and category campaigns. The oversight of these responsibilities is geared toward maximizing sales growth and deepening professional barber, hairstylist, and animal groomer awareness of, and affinity for, our leading global brand. This role reports to the Global Director of Brand Marketing for Wahl Professional and has no direct reports.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for major initiatives, including product launches, category campaigns, and other marketing activities that support the growth of our global brand.
  • Manages the development and implementation of marketing activation plans across global markets, ensuring that all activities are executed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed our strategic goals.
  • Lead the global go-to-market process for new product launches and category campaigns, working closing with regional marketing teams and cross-functional marketing teams to ensure all activities are executed effectively.
  • Collaborate with creative team in the development of sell-in and sell-thru toolkits for global product marketing stories.
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to develop brand strategies, ensuring alignment across all markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regional marketing teams, ensuring information is shared across teams; Aids in determining seasonal cadence and structure of global marketing meetings.
  • Drive effective communication of key product and marketing strategies to regional sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure global product positioning and objectives are well defined and deliver a consistent brand message.
  • Work collaboratively with product management teams to develop product positioning and messaging that aligned with product features and end-user benefits.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of end-users, category, competition, and trends and transform into insights and opportunities to grow our global brand.
  • Work with research teams to develop and execute market research initiatives that inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Manages the annual marketing calendar, timelines & budget

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management or marketing management, with a proven track record of developing and leading teams through successful full-funnel marketing campaigns across communication channels.
  • Experience in a global marketing role, with a strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics across multiple markets.
  • Experience working with internal and external creative partners with ability to provide critical thinking and feedback to achieve brand goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, research, and leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Comfortable in fast-changing, fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills a plus.
  • Travel (domestic and global) is required - 20%
