WWC Global is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Consultant for a potential contract supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) SEA10 (Corporate Operations & Total Force) and SEA00 (Office of the Commander) organizations. The Senior Strategic Planning Consultant will:

  • Develop, review, and maintain the strategic planning process and timeline.
  • Execute and monitor strategic objectives.
  • Assist in the development of strategic performance measures, tracking those measures for trends, seeking out root causes, suggest improvements, test measures for accuracy, evaluate areas of risk and suggest improvements, maintain and report metrics to senior leadership through collaboration with other NAVSEA departments, provide recommendations for improvement of performance measures based on best practices both inside and outside of the Government sphere.
  • Review and maintain strategic documents.
  • Develop, distribute, and analyze stakeholder surveys.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate the strategic business plan to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and disseminate command calendars as required.
  • Maintain the schedule, agenda, and meeting minutes for all strategic planning meetings and events and disseminate to stakeholders.
  • Review departmental (business unit) strategies to ensure alignment with the Command strategy and identify differences.
  • Coordinate preparation for briefings or Command audits and assessments with departmental (business unit) POC's.
  • Identify and coordinate with external strategic partners, recommend new collaborative relationships.
  • Conduct strategic analysis.
  • Assist in the research, identification, design, communication, and implementation of various strategic concepts and initiatives and in developing change management approaches and methodologies along with integrated methodologies and tools for monitoring the realization of strategic initiatives/concepts/projects; and to identify savings and communicate results to other SYSCOMS, DON and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
  • Review individual initiatives in order to maximize cost efficiency across the enterprise.

This position is contingent on contract award.

Work Environment:
  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Business Systems, or similar.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Please visit the link for FAQs:
  • 5 year minimum experience in a management capacity.
  • 5 year minimum experience in strategic management planning consisting of development, review, maintenance, process and continuity.
  • Experience in strategic solution support, business operations, management systems engineering and impact analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or similar.
  • Certification or 5 years experience in one of the following: Management Systems Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
  • Current, active Secret clearance.
  • Previous NAVSEA experience.
