WSP USA is currently initiating a search for a Project Administrator/Project Engineer to work in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale, FL area.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of assignments requiring application of standard construction engineering techniques and FDOT standards. This person will assist with CEI services and CEI oversight for the client under the direction of the CEI Senior Project Engineer and others.
The CEI Project Administrator:
-Recognizes construction problems and applies standard techniques and procedures to solve the problem
-May recommend field changes to drawings and specifications
-May supervise field inspection staff, directing and assigning specific tasks
-Maintains daily contact with client and contractors to discuss construction activities
-Attends construction meetings with client and contractors.
-Performs other duties as assigned

-Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with 2 yrs related experience or
-5 + years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures
-Valid Driver’s license
-CTQP FDOT Advanced MOT certification
-CTQP FDOT Final Estimates level 2 certification
-CTQP Quality Control Manager Certification
This position is contingent upon securing a contract.
