WSP is currently seeking an exceptional candidate for a Marketing Intern for our Seattle office for the summer of 2020, with the possibility of part time work during the school year.

This opportunity is available for a college student in good standing working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field within an accredited program. The candidate will gain experience working with a variety of staff marketing managers, marketing coordinators, graphic designers, engineers, planners and business leaders to assist with proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral prepared for public agencies for transportation improvements for our West Region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a proposal team responding to RFPs, RFQs, awards submittals, roster applications, etc.
  • Coordinate all proposal materials (graphics, text, forms and subconsultant material) into a final, client-ready package
  • Update resumes and project profiles
  • Work on updating the people and projects database
  • Follow WSP's high standards for quality in all marketing deliverables
  • Other marketing duties, as required

# Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CURRENT standing as a student actively enrolled in an accredited Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business (or related) Undergraduate or Graduate Program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills (both oral and written)
  • Superior organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products under deadline pressure
  • The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately

Preferred Qualifications
  • Local candidates preferred (Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily InDesign
