The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for database marketing activities as it relates to daily and monthly marketing reporting. The application of data management and analysis of large amounts of information will be the primary focus of the role. This individual will incorporate the management of data into key reporting aspects of the marketing team through the implementation of data into Power Bi dashboards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively manage data collection system processes to ensure data integrity and accurate output.

• Improve and develop reporting dashboards through Power BI by partnering with various business stakeholders to provide key insights.

• Engage in the mining, analysis, and interpretation of marketing activity to enhance marketing targeting.

• Integrate data requests for various stakeholders into the daily/monthly activity of the marketing database build.

• Partner effectively with a variety of business stakeholders, including marketing, retail banking, business banking, and external vendors on ad hoc projects.

• Build and manage the digital activity of marketing data for the purposes of digital analysis.

• Complete monthly reporting tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

• Enhance analytical processes, including data flows, dashboards, and forecasts.

• Effectively communicate findings and results to various stakeholders, including senior leadership across marketing, by providing insight behind the data and making recommendations to the business based on data insights.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of science degree in marketing, information systems, business analytics, computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics.

• 3+ years of work experience in data, analytics, marketing, product development, or business management.

• Strong SQL and Excel skills for querying and manipulating data for analysis and visualization.

• Strong experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel data skills).

• Skill merging diverse data from different platforms, formats, and environments.

• Experience with data warehouses and data warehouse tools (Red Point Data Management a plus)

• Conceptual thinker with proven analytical & problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data insight.

• Strongly motivated to be a player in a team that is constantly working to improve itself through exploring new analytics techniques and software tools to continually improve.
