Description:

The Commercial Performance & Data Manager will be the divisional owner of data and financial systems leveraged by Commercial Banking. This primarily includes relationship profitability models and all related performance management and incentive reporting. This role will also work with the Divisional Financial Officer and our partners in Finance to replace the sunsetting system. The Commercial Performance & Data Manager will work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and implement key performance management reporting and dashboards. This position will validate and interprets all data received in multiple formats to ensure data quality, integrity, and completeness for accurate reporting. The incumbent will discuss patterns/trends, root causes, and recommended actions resulting from data analysis and use tools such as Microsoft Teams, SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Web.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is for Performance Management data, systems, and reporting.
  • Manage all data management functions for dashboards, reports, and trending for Commercial Banking Division
  • Leverage data visualization tools such as Power BI with multiple data sources to build impactful reports and trends for leadership
  • Understanding departments business initiatives and key assumptions and implement reports and dashboards to help track progress and trends
  • Draw on strengths of being detailed oriented, data driven, and organized to produce reports that enable the business to highlight progress, risks, and defects across systems and processes.
  • Build relationships with technology management, internal users, and Commercial leadership.
  • Collaborate as needed on the development of established group and individual performance goals and incentive plan criteria that drive behaviors to positively impact performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical or business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data, business or reporting analyst. Prior financial service industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience building reports with various tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Microsoft Power BI experience needed
  • Experience with Power Query and advanced Excel functions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of major banking principles, processes, and technologies with experience with data reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
