Licensed Security Officer - Level 3

Daystar Christian Television Network is looking for a Licensed Security Officer - Level 3 to work at their Headquarters in Bedford, Texas.

Must be a Christian who is personally committed to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly, to ensure the environment is safe and secure.
• Must be team and people oriented.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
• Using provided communication devices, such as two-way radios, in a clear and conscious manner.
• Providing detailed reports on activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
• Performing CPR or First Aid when needed.
• Hours may vary depending on events, meetings, and business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Must be organized, strategic, and focused.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with others, especially in stressful situations.
• Excellent knowledge of Security Protocols.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Work additional hours during events (Christmas Lights, Heart For The World).
• Good judgement to quickly identify the best course of action, when dealing with dangerous situations, as they may arise.
• Texas Certification with a Level 3 or higher.
• Has previous experience working with or around a Faith Base Organization. (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Other duties assigned.
• The ability to pass a standardized Physical Fitness Test.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit (and walk) at workstation for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders, bending, pushing.
• Must pass a medical physical exam and background check.

• Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Must be able to work extended hours during special events; available to work via weather-related conditions as necessary

Schedule:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Friday, Saturday – 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Days off: Sunday & Monday
