Job Description

 

Occupational Health RNs needed at a medical center in Honolulu, HI. Start ASAP. Medical centers specialize in innovative programs in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.

DURATION: 12 weeks

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a current registered nurse license in another state or meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing.
  • Current BLS/ACLS.
  • Two years recent registered nurse experience in Employee or Occupational Health.
  • EOE/AA/Disabled/Vets
  • This posting is based on Oahu, and will support all entities: women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint service.

Additional Information:

  • All individuals, both residents and visitors, arriving or returning to the State of Hawaii are subject to a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine.
  • The mandate applies to all arrivals at state airports, including private and commercial aircrafts.
  • All arriving passengers are required to initial and sign this order confirming they are aware of the 14-day quarantine and acknowledging they understand violating the order is a criminal offense, and subject to a $5,000 fine and/or a year imprisonment.
  • Quarantine is unpaid unless otherwise approved per medical center.
  • Facility will reimburse for a rental car on top of the all-inclusive rate for Surg Tech traveler's on Kaua'i. This is up to $1500 per month only. Car, taxes and fees are included but will not reimburse for gas, insurance, and other costs.

  • THIS CAN ALSO BE FOUND IN THE FACILITY PROFILE DOCUMENT SECTION Current Professional and General Liability of $1,000,000 (one million dollars) per occurrence and $3,000,000 (three million dollars) in aggregate covering acts or omissions, which may give rise to liability for services under this Agreement. Workers Compensation insurance shall be provided in accordance with applicable state law. Automobile liability, if applicable to position, workers compensation for traveler.
  • Unemployment insurance (if traveler is an employee of Agency).
  • ALL TRAVELERS MUST ARRIVE ON THE ISLAND BY THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE START DATE Please note - E-certificates will be accepted as proof of CPR certification.

Benefits

$2187/Weekly Gross: $800/Week Taxable ($20/hr), $1387/Week Tax Free Stipends, Up to $600 for Travel Reimbursement Included. 53.5 cents per mile up to $300 each way. Paid out 2nd pay check and last pay check. Mileage calculated based on permanent address to facility address. $15/hr for Orientation.
