Seriously Seeking a Customer Service Representative 2nd Shift 11:00am-8:00pm
Who: A team-oriented individual who is ready to use their previous customer service experience and excellent interpersonal skills to help ensure that the lives of our customers (first responders dedicated to the Fire, Law, and EMS services) are safer and easier through our business model. Don’t have first-hand knowledge in Public Safety? That’s A-OK—we’ll teach you everything you need to know about our business. You take that knowledge and wield it for good and we’ll call it even (plus salary and benefits).
What: We want a professional team member who is ready to tackle challenges head-on; someone who excels at teamwork but is also able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. Your interpersonal skills are crucial: you must have excellent listening skills, the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections. Some of your responsibilities will include (but certainly aren’t limited to): receiving inbound phone calls and assisting both current and potential customers with orders, returns, and product questions; keeping accurate daily records; learning product information and staying informed of new product additions; establishing a good working rapport with customers, vendors, and other company departments; and attending department meetings.
Requirements include: a high school diploma (some college preferred); previous experience in customer service (call center experience preferred); excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; PC proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel).
