  • Base Salary $45,000 to $50,000 Annually

The Opportunity

  • Community Manager; Business Development – Flex Space, Reno, NV
  • Unique, ground floor opportunity for an enthusiastic sales professional seeking a sales and business development role in an entrepreneurial environment for the marketing and leasing of a new flex space business in Reno, Nevada.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development; including:

  • Prospecting, identification and selling flexible office and warehouse space solutions to tenants and other customers
  • Develop relationships for long term and repeat business
  • Screen prospective tenants and customers
  • Conducting tours and closing on new business opportunities
  • Completing lease/license applications and assisting with the verification of application information
  • Prepare lease/license documents using company forms

Marketing, Image, and Brand, including:

  • Assist in the creation, development and execution of an in-market sales and marketing plan.
  • Preserve favorable relationships with tenants and other customers
  • Develop a dynamic, inclusive and inviting environment for clients.
  • Contribute to a positive, inviting, experience-related atmosphere at the facility and in the operation of the business


  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of a business development and leasing plan that encompasses all areas of the flex space business and the property, including, the business goals and objectives
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration and operation of the flex space business and the property to provide a superior tenant and user experience.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven sales, new business development, and closing skills
  • 5 + years of recent sales experience; recent real estate sales or leasing experience is highly desired
  • Some property management experience or the equivalent
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry, property management principles and relevant legislation
  • A firm knowledge of the Reno, Nevada office and warehouse market; understanding of the flex space market in Reno is highly desired
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Persistent and proactive self-starter with a competitive entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Relationship builder
  • Problem solver
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including, Outlook and Excel
  • Property Management Permit issued by the Nevada Real Estate Division, highly desired
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
  • Available to work standard business hours, after hours and be available on-call for emergencies

  • Reno, Nevada (business and property location)
  • Full-time Employee (exempt)
  • Availability during standard business hours, after hours and emergency on-call
