We’re seeking a Senior Designer with an exceptional design eye and deep love of creative problem-solving — someone with a proven ability to design and develop campaign- and brand-level creative. You are equally comfortable with wild conceptual thinking as you are staying within the guardrails of well-established brands. And you have extensive knowledge of all aspects of design for print and digital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with a cross-functional team to develop compelling designs for campaigns, websites, brand platforms and a variety of other marketing deliverables.
  • Execute on CD and art director’s vision, implement feedback and articulate creative vision to key stakeholders.
  • Serve as creative lead on projects, and review work from junior and production design teams.
  • Present directly to clients as a representative of the creative team. Own the creation and distribution of presentation materials.
  • Ensure clients’ visual standards and guidelines are understood and followed.
  • Help guide project schedules based on scope and workloads.
  • Consistently refine internal creative processes to elevate overall quality of work and project success.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in copy, design, marketing, advertising.
  • Share best practices and inspiration around your craft with the larger team.
  • Go beyond the creative brief to discover key insights by researching clients, competitors, industries, products, audiences and topics. Think strategically.
  • Address feedback and iterate to find the best possible solution.
  • Confidently present work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years’ design experience at an agency or client-side marketing org.
  • Must have experience presenting concepts and all rounds of creative to C-level clients.
  • Ability to articulate concepts (versus layouts) and communicate creative vision to junior staff.
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental design principles for web and print that influence typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information.
  • Mad skills in the big 3 design apps: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (the latest versions, please).
  • Ability to monitor multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Unrelenting standard for error-free work.
