Senior Mechanical engineer
We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles, California.
Wat we need from you:
Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential customers.
Effectively manage HVAC and Plumbing design projects by satisfying clients' needs, meeting budget expectations and project schedules.
Provide support during construction phases.
Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of mechanical engineering. (HVAC & PLUMBING)
Manage a multi project workload as well as oversee the design work of other engineers. The successful candidate will be accountable for project coordination and quality, as well as budget adherence, and overall team communication.
Must possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects.
Lead multi-disciplinary team for mechanically focused projects.
Perform coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
Evaluate Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk.
Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules.
Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or completed Course Work in HVAC or Plumbing.
LEED Certification is a plus.
Southern California Resident
7 years of experience minimum, individuals should have recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm designing HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Experience in the following preferred:
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are required.
Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications.
Ability to motivate multiple-discipline project teams in meeting client's needs in a timely manner and meeting budget objectives.
Experienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and REVIT is a plus.
