Contract/Temporary Videographer/Editor for Short-Term Overseas Assignment

We need motivated candidates with videography experience to support a short-term, overseas, public affairs contract. The Videographer will work with team leaders, journalists, and exercise facilitators to develop simulated news stories as part of this exercise. The Videographer will:
Provide event and custom tailored media products and simulations by operating cameras to record scenes for simulated TV broadcasts.
Compose and Frame shots, applying all technical aspects including lighting, sound, lens choice and use cameras in a variety of camera mounts.
Gather and edit raw footage for broadcast.
Work with other crew members, including Field Journalists and producers to develop news packages.
Edits recordings to include graphics, audio, music and clips.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
At least two years of demonstrated video and editing skills, including editing for broadcast done quickly, with correct graphics, audio, and lighting.
Experience completing projects on a team, preferably for a military organization.
An thorough understanding of the video production environment.
Ideally, the candidate will provide their own camera and editing equipment.
