Social Worker -  MSW, LMSW, LCSW or LCMH

The Social Worker is responsible for providing a comprehensive and integrated on-site social services for our residents to assist in achieving their objectives to successfully become independent. 

Our population is diverse, and we are recruiting for Social Workers who have experience with one or more of the following - Knowledge of adult, child and adolescent development, domestic violence survivors, elderly, mentally ill, homeless population. Experience in emotional/behavioral health and mental health, family dynamics, parent-child relationships, diagnostic classifications. In addition, the position requires a reasonable combination of skills in the following areas: strengths based, solution focused, and family centered practice; experience working with diverse client populations; knowledge of child welfare policies, regulations, safety, permanency, and well-being.

The Social Worker is responsible for the implementation of the treatment program in accordance with Volunteers of America policies and procedures, program models, funding source standards, and evidence-based practices.  The Social Worker is responsible for meeting the highest possible standards of health and safety and provides all needed quality services to residents to meet contractual and regulatory requirements. The Social Worker assists the program in developing community resources to support a nurturing environment for our population.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, MSW or LMSW or LCSW or LCMH with two to three years of relevant experience working with individuals or families of domestic violence or children, adolescent development, parents and students, elderly, mentally ill, homeless population.

 Experience in emotional/behavioral health and mental health, family dynamics, parent-child relationships, diagnostic classifications. 

Salary:  $53,000 to $60,000
