Job Description

Temporary Front Desk/HR Clerk

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Front Desk/HR Clerk to work in Santa Maria, CA. This is a temporary position for approximately 2-6 months. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Making copies, faxing documents, along with other clerical duties
  • Answering phones
  • Assisting with HR functions, and new hire applications
  • Verify and comply with I9 completion/Maintain database current
  • Complete and submit VOE’s, EDD Benefit audits, Garnishments etc.
  • Distribute employee paychecks
  • Other tasks assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task
