The OD & Learning Specialist supports the planning, administration, program management and ongoing continuous improvement of the company's talent management processes, employee and leadership development, and culture and engagement initiatives. Collaborates with and supports OD & Learning Consultants on priorities they lead, and partners with HR colleagues and business managers to facilitate OD solutions that improve team and individual performance.
Operationally supports talent management processes including onboarding, new hire orientation, performance management, development planning, and talent and succession planning. Provides professional, user-friendly and business-credible experience to HR colleagues and leaders who use processes in their efforts to strategically manage and engage talent.
Acts as program coordinator for VWGoA College Graduate Program. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition on the recruitment and selection of College Grad Analysts. Oversees and supports the onboarding, ongoing development and career mobility of program participants.
Provides ongoing program management, communications, and vendor and logistics coordination to support leadership development and corporate training programs. Uses presentation and facilitation skills in leading new hire orientation and leadership development program communications in particular.
Supports the development of the annual training calendar and catalogue; plans, maintains and markets training schedules; and administers courses, course schedules, rosters and reports in the Learning Management System.
Addresses individual learner and manager queries about training and development resources, providing exceptional customer service with a professional interface.
Delivers instructor-led training and facilitates workshops to improve personal and/or team effectiveness.
Projects project and execution support on employer and employee surveys. Responsibilities include preparation of data, writing responses that represent company practices, constructing survey questions and formats for use by the business, and developing communications to support the survey process.
Plays a vital role in change management effort related to global talent management standards and implementation of new talent management technology.
Maintains flexibility to participate in and provide OD support to any aspect of the OD & Learning function.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in talent management, organizational development, and/or learning.
Bachelor's degree in business, OD, leadership and/or learning and development.
