Voice Systems Engineering (VSE) is an organization of entrepreneurial, growth-minded people working to positively impact people’s lives. Our advisor-based, technology platform marketplaces service verticals including psychic guidance and wellness.

We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious growth goals. Initially, this will be a greenfield opportunity for an individual contributor to help us build from the ground up.

What you get to do with VSE:  

In this position you will be exploring new verticals and formulating go-to-market and penetration strategies for our established and successful business. You will be responsible for brand awareness, generating demand for new products and services, and closing deals that drive future revenue growth. You will develop and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy and work collaboratively with other VSE leaders to deliver results in line with enterprise business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic, thoughtful, and hands-on business development professional with experience launching new lines of business and exceeding objectives. 

What you will contribute to VSE:  

  • Identify strategic opportunities to establish partnerships with B2B and B2B2C customers to grow opportunities for our core product suite outside of our current B2C marketplace. 
  • Establish white label opportunities for our platform, across new verticals with a diverse range of customers. 
  • Contribute to VSE’s strategic planning process, ascertain current market position, long-term growth prospects and input into the annual financial plan. 
  • Pinpoint, contact, and sway key decision-makers and stakeholders within the corporate wellness space to directly grow revenue with our current offerings. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to develop joint go-to-market value propositions, generate customer stories, and develop marketing material, etc.   
  • Examine market inclination and disruptions, and search for new market opportunities. 
  • Join forces with our Product and Engineering teams to build our product marketing plan for new verticals, summarize market feedback, improve product strategy, and refine go to market strategy. 
  • Establish frameworks and processes that allow for the evaluation and progression of potential client partnerships. 

Your journey so far has likely included:  

  • Senior level business development experience selling software platform solutions and professional services.  
  • Experience working in a high-tech environment and a love for technology products as well as an understanding of the nuances of B2B and B2B2C services and product solutions within the software platform vertical.    
  • A desire to collaborate with internal contributors and a steadfast attitude to get deals done in an industry space that is emerging. 
  • Leadership experience with empathy towards customers and providing value added solutions to their needs. 
  • Proven experience developing a vision for and executing successful marketing events and campaigns. 
  • Enterprising attitude and familiarity with the tactics and strategies needed to establish and expand new business opportunities.

This is a remote based position. We are currently inviting residents ofPennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Maryland to apply for this position.

Salary Range:  $100,000 - $150,000 per annum plus generous commission structure, depending on experience and expertise. This figure represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the potential salary for this role. Salary and whole compensation package to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. We may offer a salary outside this range to an exceptional candidate.
