We are seeking a driven and organized Program Manager who will be responsible for program leadership, execution, and customer coordination. The Program Manager must successfully manage a sizeable individual program, or several small programs involving a substantial commitment of Company resources within budget and schedule and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver program results responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Planning, organizing, and controlling assigned program activity from initial concept through final stages of program product life cycle to optimize profit and meet growth objectives.
Primary point of contact with customers, communicating with them regarding the schedule and other issues on an ongoing basis. Acts as the voice of the customer within the organization.
Accountable for the price, cost, inventory, quality, and delivery related to the assigned customer base.
Tracking, monitoring, and reporting program performance using program management tools.
Developing and executing program presentations for internal and external customers and summary documents for leadership review.
Leading multi-disciplinary teams to execute programs in accordance with quality, schedule, and cost commitments.
Managing program(s) with plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in quality, schedule, and budget.
Resolving any conflicts among stakeholders that impact successful program outcomes.
Leading Integrated Product Teams responsible for all phases of the program life cycle.
Performing all functions of the job while adhering to established quality policies and procedures
Other essential duties as assigned.
Supervisor duties will include:
Interviewing and training employees
Planning, assigning, and directing work
Appraising performance
Rewarding and disciplining employees
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Our successful candidate qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferable) or business management.
Five (5) years of manufacturing industry experience.
Two (2) plus years of experience as a program manager in the aerospace industry is a PLUS.
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated management experience
Software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Auto Cad Inventor, Pro/Engineer, and web-based applications.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands
Working knowledge of the Contract Terms and Conditions (T&C), Quality Clauses, Pricing Models, etc.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Excellent time management skills.
