Job Description
Visiting Angels facilitates a variety of home-care services that allow seniors and older adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. The Administrative assistant will be expected to assist the Administrators with phone calls, system documentation and follow-up tasks. Furthermore, this person will assist with client and caregiver requests while building compassionate relationships. Training will be for approximately 2 weeks Monday - Wednesday 10:00am - 3:00pm. Email resume.

  • Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Pay from $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Assist the Administrators with client and caregiver related phone calls.
  • Input all client and caregiver documentation into the system with accuracy.
  • Assist with caregiver registration, verify caregiver background screenings and compliance related documentation.
  • Assist the Administrators with coordinating client/caregiver requests and follow-up.
  • Work independently as well as working in a team environment. 
  • Other related tasks as needed.
  • 1-3 years of work experience with customer service responsibilities.
  • Experience in the home care industry including home health agency, assisted living facility will be considered a plus.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to act swiftly, decisively, and persistently when faced with obstacles; must be able to solve problems effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, including full documentation of work performed, and with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, as they are presented.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
