Corrosion Planner - Norfolk, VA

**Position Contingent on Contract Award

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is recruiting for a Corrosion Planner in Norfolk, VA. A Corrosion Planner manages many complex tasks to include overseeing and tracking all depot-level corrosion work. Daily tasks will also include tank and void coating system management, managing blast and paint schedules, tracking coatings applications data collection, planning tank inspection schedules and noting progress, and associated corrosion repairs for assigned ships.

Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.

-5 years of experience in U.S. Navy ship depot level maintenance planning functions. OR 7-9 years of progressive and direct experience related to U.S. Navy surface ship operations or maintenance planning and execution.

-Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. Highly qualified candidates who are able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 60 days of contract award will be considered.

-US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

-It is highly desired for a qualified candidate to have management or supervisor experience at a Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Repair and Conversion Command, Regional Maintenance Center, U.S. Navy Centera Planning Activity, Us Navy Planning Yard Activity, or a Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity.

-Experience as a Naval Supervising Authority Project Manager or a U.S. Navy Port Engineer is also preferred.
