Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is looking for a BC/BE Hematologist\-Medical Oncologist to join our team\. We are a busy practice of 8 Hematologists/Medical Oncologist who are part of a multi\-specialty hospital\-based physician group\. We are seeking a Hematology focused physician to round out the practice in Downtown Seattle\.
> Hematology & Oncology group includes 8 MD's and 1 PA, all generalists with at least one Oncologic area of interest
Primary practice focus in Hematology with some general medical oncology
Excellent nursing and MA support
Extensive program of multi\-disciplinary cancer conferences - including Breast, Thoracic, GI, Hepatobiliary, Urologic, Prostate and Dermatology/Sarcoma
Extensive multidisciplinary support including site\-specific tumor boards at VM and St\. Francis Hospital
Involvement in collaborative group clinical trials
Main infusion clinics are in Federal Way and Downtown Seattle
VM is the longest\-running accredited Academic Committee on Cancer \(CoC\) program in the Western United States
The cancer program oversees 2600 analytic cancer cases per year
> Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Fellowship trained; preference for Hematology fellowship training
Ability to obtain medical license in Washington State
Ability to obtain DEA will full prescriptive authority for the subspecialty
