Job Duties
The Deputy Clerk Wage position is assigned operational responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced office with frequent deadlines. Ensures court's instructions are executed and legal documents are prepared with accuracy and in accordance with state and local policies. This is a wage position with no benefits. 28 hours per week during the hours of 8 AM - 4:30 PM; $12.00 per hour.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include preparing detailed court documents in accordance with established guidelines, extensive filing, and data entry, answering phones, assisting customers, receipting payments, and other duties as assigned. Must possess the ability to professionally interact with diverse customers and various agencies providing excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; business courses preferred. Verbal and written communications skills; automated records and word processing experience a plus.
Additional Considerations
Requires knowledge and skills in general office operations and procedures (i.e. typing, filing, data entry, and receipting payments).
