Job Description
Part time day or night instructors needed for Birmingham camps located at Palisades.

Medical Billing and Coding/Healthcare Reimbursement - Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Health Information Systems preferred) with RHIT or RHIA certification.

Therapeutic Massage – Candidates must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree and be licensed by the State of Alabama in Therapeutic Massage. Instructors are also required to have Massage Therapy Instructor License.

General Education – Sociology - Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree with 18 hours of concentration in sociology.

Networking - Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or Information Systems with applicable certifications.

All candidates should have 1-3 years in the field and teaching experience is preferred. This position would communicate class content to students so that learning occurs, skills are developed and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives. Instructor would teach the depth and scope of class materials outlined in the syllabus/catalog. Instructor would maintain records/grades in accordance with college policy.

Company Description
The College was founded by the Atlantis Group, Inc., in 1983 and then purchased by Career Futures, Inc., in 1989. The College opened its first branch campus in Birmingham, Alabama, in February 1992, and this became the main campus in 1995. In April 1993, the College opened its second branch campus in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1997, Virginia College received senior college recognition from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools(ACICS) which now accredits all programs at the school's campuses.

Education Corporation of America acquired Virginia College in mid 1999. Virginia College currently has campuses in the following locations:
