Job Description Seeking Experienced, Long-term, Compassionate, and Certified Residential Administrator!! SUMMARY: This opportunity is a skilled para-professional position providing first-line supervision and on-site supervision for caring and supportive services to participants at a residential site in Orange County, California. The Program Administrator performs duties under the general supervision of the Owner and President of Operations, following established procedures. The Program Administrator schedules, assigns, and monitors the work of facility care staff; and participates in hiring, salary and corrective action decisions. This role typically supervises facility care staff providing direct support to individuals and may also perform the identical work of those supervised. In addition, the Program Administrator has ongoing contacts with funding and regulatory agencies as well.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. A valid California driver license Completion of Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training Certification Levels 1 and 2 (35-hour classroom settings) Must have an Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification by California DPSS, CCL Division. One (1) year of experience in the field of human services/behavioral health-supporting persons with intellectual disabilities. Two (2) years minimum experience in a supervisory position. Two years (2) of progressively responsible experience working with individuals who have a developmental disability. Adult First Aid, CPR, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications. Must pass and maintain fingerprinting clearance. Must successfully meet the program requirements including being able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Able to work flexible schedules: weekends, nights, days, evenings, partial shifts, 8-hour shifts and overtime as required. Must be available by phone for easy access by agency personnel.

If ALL certifications are not complete, MUST be willing to commit to completion prior to employment.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with Bachelor's degree in the behavioral health field; or a Bachelor's degree in any field with one (1) year of experience in a behavioral health field.
