Job Description
We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. $59,000+ at plan commission

Responsibilities:
  • Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals
  • Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand and close deals efficiently
  • Leverage social prospecting and multiple communication channels to find, meet with, and follow-up with potential customers and deal opportunities
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead generating activities goals to ensure future business
  • Convert “no” into “yes” by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points

  • Generate leads and qualify new opportunities
  • Consult with new and existing prospects to define service and delivery opportunities
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by examining risks and potentials
  • Prospect and develop a pipeline for targeted accounts
  • Grow strategic relationships with prospects, clients, and industry partners
  • Establish a network of direct executive, operations, and administrative contacts
  • Responsible for leading activities of a sales cycle
  • Leverage indirect partner channels, operations, and administrative contacts
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities that add value and profit to the organization
  • Writes Statements of Work or responds to RFQ/RFI/RFP that address the opportunity requirements and goals
  • Collaborate with leadership, industry specialists, and key delivery stakeholders on account planning and sales pursuits
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation activities, establishing and validating value propositions, and follow up on campaign plans
  • Identify target messages per buyer role within the specific vertical market focus
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance to business development resources
  • Become trusted advisor
  • Articulate value proposition and benefits in presentations, proposals, and sales deliverables
  • Calculate pricing, margin, and ROI metrics
  • Negotiate and close profitable contracts
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Control the cost of sales
  • Provide accurate and timely sales activity reports
  • Provide thorough account transitions support to the delivery organization

Qualifications:
  • Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales
  • Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
  • High school diploma required and some industry or product knowledge preferred
  • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills

  • 3+ years experience in professional services or HCM software sales position
  • Excellent Prospecting Skills

  • Meeting Sales Goals
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
  • Ability to influence others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication
  • Previous Payroll/HR and/or HCM consulting and implementation experience is considered a benefit
  • Ability to travel as needed
