Director of Nursing

The Villa at West Branch, a 4-STAR 70-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in West Branch, MI is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team!

As the Director of Nursing (DON) you will organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

• Roll-out and maintain policies and procedures that govern the nursing department.
• Implement and maintain an ongoing QA program
• Collaborate with the NHA on concerns or enhancements to the department
• Manages employees in the provision of care and services according to professional standards of nursing practice, consistent with Facility philosophy of care and State and Federal laws and regulations
• Assumes full time administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the Facility

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with the state
• Previous nurse leadership in SNFs preferred: Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing
