Job Description

Title: HR Business Partner (Financial/Banking domain)
Location: New York, NY, United States
Salary Range: $100K - $110K + Benefits + Bonus 
Hybrid Work Schedule

The Human Resources Business Partner II will play a critical role in the recruitment and full employment cycle (hire-to-retire) process. This position will focus on hiring efforts for the Bank's front office areas in the New York and New Jersey locations and assist in employee relations, performance management, and diversity & inclusion programs.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for the full recruitment and employment cycle for all positions.
Manage automated recruiting solution.
Manage all background screening processes.
Partner with the D&I Business Outreach Partner to effectively build attract a the Bank's diverse pool of candidates.
Utilize cost effective employment strategies that ensure the availability of required talent to meet current and future needs.
Review employee goals, mid-year and year-end performance evaluations and provide feedback as necessary.
Responsible for the development, and implementation, and interpretation of policies and procedures relating to employment, and career development.
Assist senior management in determining that the Bank's employee skill sets are in alignment with its business plans and strategic initiatives.
Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on the interpretation of HR policies relating to employment, career development, and employee benefits in support of the effective management of their human capital.
Maintain knowledge of the Bank's business plans in order to anticipate and ensure the availability of required talent to meet the current and future needs of the Bank.
Provide advice and guidance on employee relations, training, retention, career pathing, diversity awareness, employee development and equal employment opportunity.

Other Duties:

Contribute to the Strategic Human Resources programs and initiatives.
Track talent acquisition metrics and provide reports on a regular basis.
Assist in ensuring that the Bank's employment practices and procedures comply with government regulations and Bank policy and objectives.
Assist with ensuring the Bank's compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as, applicable state and local laws and regulations.
Act as a backup to the Diversity & Inclusion Outreach Business Partner.
Travel to NJ office as needed.
Daily contact with all management and employees
Frequent contact with recruitment sources, service consultants and vendors.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience

5+ yrs Recruitment experience with specific expertise in talent acquisition and management within an organization.
Working knowledge of one or more HRIS systems including an applicant tracking system.
Candidate sourcing utilizing online resources required.


Education

Bachelors' degree preferred.
Graduate degree and/or continuing education in Human Resources disciplines preferred.
