We are a well-established, full-service small animal and exotics clinic in Blacksburg, VA. We are looking to hire an outgoing and enthusiastic licensed veterinary technician to join our CAC family by providing excellent patient care and positive client experiences. The veterinary technician will also provide critical care nursing, triage patients, coordinate their care, and provide them with care before and after surgery.

Our licensed veterinary technicians work closely with the veterinarians in appointments and surgical procedures. The veterinary technician must be able to follow instructions quickly, be focused, organized and handle animals in multiple situations that will vary with each patient. Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds. Hours vary to include days, evenings, weekends and some holidays

PREFERRED BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

• Veterinary Clinic or Hospital experience
• Previous Cornerstone and Idexx experience a plus. Compensation varies by experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION Required:

• Veterinary Technician Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
