Job Description

Position Summary:

Large Non-profit organization needs non-CDL drivers .The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering products to and from assigned locations. Drivers will load the donated items into the trucks , following food safety protocols, and delivering the food to a designated community partners. Drivers will use provided scales and our custom app to weigh and categorize and record each donation. Food Rescue Driver, you will be a regular face that the partners welcome and rely on.

Shift: 5:00am to completion
Monday To Friday ( Must be able to work some weekends as needed)

Salary: CDL A $ 27 / HR
CDL B $ 25 /HR
NON CDL $20/HR

Qualifications:

At least 12 months of experience driving OR an entry level driver certificate for new truck drivers.
Commercial driving experience a plus but not required.
Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
Must have valid driver's license.
No DUI/DWI in past 3 years.
Eligible to work in the USA for any Employer.
Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and physical.
Broad knowledge of New York City routes

Essential Functions:

The Delivery Driver responsibilities will include:

Delivering product daily in a safe manner as listed on delivery sheets
Bringing product into member agencies buildings
Verifying counts, record shortages, overages, and/or product damages on invoices
Completing daily truck maintenance and other logs/reports as directed
Assisting with loading and unloading of warehouse inventory as needed
