We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to support our organization with contract negotiation, procurement processing, vendor management, and expense planning and analysis. In this position, you will work with our Finance team and business leaders across the organization to ensure they are receiving the goods and services they need to run the business at the best price possible, as well as providing in-depth analyses to support expense management and planning.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
•Understand the needs of the business to procure the best equipment and services possible at the best price available
•Manage workflows related to purchase requests and approvals, order and contract execution, and purchase order issuance
•Development of internal and external Procurement policies and procedures, along with maintaining and upholding companywide communications and training sessions
•Develop, issue and lead procurement activity to find the best sourcing solutions that meet business requirements
•Lead and/or facilitate negotiations with Vendors for all categories of spend
•Maintain appropriate records within our financial management system and contract management system
•Work with vendors and our Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment of invoices
•Develop and maintain detailed financial analyses on Vertafore's expenses
•Perform vendor reviews and identify opportunities for better expense efficiency
•Track contract end dates and proactively work to renew contracts on schedule
•Work with our Procurement leader to achieve strategic initiatives
•Proactively seek value/savings and efficiency opportunities across identified category spend
•Work with our Finance team and business leaders to develop accurate expense forecasts and plans
•Work with Legal and Compliance regarding new vendor processes, including the creation of MSA or MNDAs
•Drive continuous-improvement initiatives within procurement organization
•Other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Office, and financial software applications
•Experience with statistical analysis
•Sound understanding of procurement practices and techniques
•Purchase Systems and order management software knowledge
•Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills
•High attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills
•Effective management of workload and priorities
Qualifications:
•Proven working experience in procurement, finance, or accounting
•BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain or related field
Additional Requirements and Details:
•Travel required up to 10% of the time.
•Located and working from an office location. #LI-Hybrid
•Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
•Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
•Frequent sitting and/or standing.

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics. Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.
