What you'll be doing...
As our Senior Project and Implementation Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering multiple RAN programs and a team of Equipment Engineers. You'll manage teams to deliver throughout the entire process for timely activations the of New Builds, modifications, In-Building, large Venue and Small Cells within the Southwest Region. Additionally, being responsible for timely procurement, technology roadmap and management of equipment used in all of the build programs. Using tools and technology to help the team organize and communicated effectively as they lead the sub market will be a key to lead in this people management role. As a leader in this organization you will motivate, coach and develop your team to maximize productivity and drive employee performance. You should have the natural ability to work through complex situations and collaborate with different organizations to ensure results.
+ As the Project Management Program lead you will need to collaborate effectively to achieve todays and tomorrows goals by working closely with RF Engineering, Transport Engineering, Network Engineering/Assurance and Construction Engineering to meet regional objectives with respect to build plan.
+ Establish expectations around turnaround time for specific tasks, measure performance, and manage performance accordingly.
+ Look for ways to improve current processes and tools that will help the team improve turn-around time.
+ Manage the timely equipment procurement using the evolving tools and processes to ensure program delivery, equipment accountability and reducing CIP
+ Create monthly objectives and establish processes/methods to hold regional teams accountable.
+ Evaluating and onboarding of employees, prospective vendors and contractors.
+ Ensure Team goals are aligned with Company direction.
+ Maintain a positive work environment, as measured by the results of Employee Opinion Surveys, while meeting targeted Team and personal objectives.
+ You'll manage large-scale projects and collaborate with teams to ensure work production meets and exceeds our goals.
+ Responsible for the leadership of a work group and/or development of broad programs or projects in support of organizational or area strategies; communicates & translates functional/operational goals into team goals; manages implementation of policies and procedures.
+ Receive broad guidance & is accountable for project or program results. Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
+ Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity. Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
+ Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other managers, peers, executive leadership, clients and key contacts within other departments within Verizon Wireless and with outside vendors and customers.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
+ Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant work experience
+ Six or more years of relevant work experience
+ Experience in the wireless telecommunications industry in positions of increasing scope and responsibility
+ Knowledge of the wireless industry including real estate, construction, transport, operations, and RF/System Performance functions
+ Willingness to travel

+ Experience in system tools, analytics and database management
+ Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills
+ PMP certification
+ Tableau experience
