Veritiss LLC is a woman-owned, service disabled veteran-owned, 8(a) certified small business based in Reston, VA. Veritiss specializes in intelligence analysis, security management and law enforcement, human resource management and administration, logistics management, language services, and information technology services'and provides rapid response recruiting as a core capability.


Veritiss LLC is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our staff in Reston, VA.  The successful candidate will be responsible for handling duties of Human Resources department and assisting in the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and services including but not limited to employee benefit programs, insurance, compensation with the support of the VP of Finance and Contracts. They will also support HRIS system management, and training and development.  The incumbent should also have experience with oconus employees.  This is a full time position with the candidate working at the corporate office located in Reston, VA.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Partners with the Program Managers to support overseas programs.
  • Provide assistance to OCONUS employees and their families with questions pertaining to benefits etc.
  • Assist with analysis of compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation levels for the organization.
  • Assists to develop HR metrics and to help identify and determine HR workforce trends and issues that provide human capital related results and may assist in possible corrective actions.
  • Develops methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices and recommends changes to management.
  • Preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies.
  • Formulates policies and procedures for recruitment, testing, placement, classification, orientation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Works together with executives and management on matters of goal setting, policy development, personnel management, and strategic implementation in support of achieving corporate objectives and business growth.
  • Manages and coordinates all labor relations processes.
  • May represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Responds to employee relation issues including employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
  • Assists organization in responding to all EEOC and/or NLRB charges.
  • Develops and provides training to the organization's workforce.
  • Directs coordination of employee recognition programs.
  • Government required HR compliance
  • Other duties as assigned.


Educations/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years' experience in Human Resource Development preferred.
  • Should have a working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations, including EEO, OFCCP, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, and Title VII.


Security Clearance: None required, Secret or higher desired
