Venture Metals + is looking for the right match in an HR Manager.

We are looking for a professional, dependable, hardworking, honest, and organized candidate with highly infectious people skills and who knows how to command results, while aiding management in ensuring organizational effectiveness and profitability.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans, and programs. This includes developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel.

Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department and personnel. Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems, while coach the team to success.

 

What You Will Do in Your Role:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the HRD and senior leaders to diagnose Human Resource related needs.
  • Provide solutions and assist leaders in setting business strategies to drive positive business results.
  • Provide strategic HR consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies to anticipate and assess emerging business, organization or people trends and identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive desired cultural change, working closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Collaborate with the HRD and leadership team to execute human resources strategies to enable business objectives and support future business growth.
  • Collaborate with HRD and senior leadership during merger and acquisition process.
  • Provide guidance and project leadership on matters related to organizational design, strategic workforce planning, successional planning, or restructuring.
  • Partner with leaders on individual performance management.
  • Lead annual Talent Review process and ensure identified follow up are put into action.
  • Engage with business unit leaders on people strategy and how to effectively deliver through workforce planning and organization design and structure.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts aligned to workforce plan.
  • Provide organizational development support; work with leadership to understand current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative.
  • Acts as an effective change agent in an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of legal requirements throughout employee lifecycle; identifying potential risks and ensure 100% compliance.
  • Identify training or individual development needs and serve as an organizational coach.

 

The Experience You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years Human Resource experience or
  • Master's Degree and 5-7 years Human Resource experience
  • 5 or more years leading a HR team
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in ADP Workforce Now
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
  • 3-5 years’ experience with benefits and total compensation planning and administration
  • High level of compassion, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Comfortable presenting before large groups
  • Bilingual is a definite plus
  • SHRM-CP, SCP or PHR Preferred Upon Hire
