Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Dispatch, Customer Service, Account Reps on team Building, Integration, and cross Training
  • Work with the Operations Director to address customer service issues to prevent crisis and correct recurring problem
  • Create customer-based SOPs tailored to each customer's needs
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints, utilizing appropriate judgment to assure their satisfaction and promote brand loyalty.
  • Ability to motivate and develop customer service representatives within the department, provide individualized coaching and recognition, and demonstrate positive leadership within a team-oriented work environment.
  • Work with operations team on Routes and schedule optimization
  • Oversee day-to-day Customer Service and Account Rep Teams
  • Fantastic verbal communication skills, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook are required.
  • Proven success working in a high volume, fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well to help our customers with any issues they may have.


  • Minimum of 7 Years Drayage Experience
  • Minimum of 5 Years Customer Service Manager (or Similar)
  • Extensive knowledge of The Drayage market and process including being familiar with operations at all major Container Terminals in the US
  • Must Be extremely knowledgeable on the SSL Process and procedures for Perdiem and demurrage
  • Strong team Building Skills
  • Freight Forwarding Experience would be a Plus
