Vekstar LLC is now hiring a Full Time Office/Administrative Assistant to join our existing top-notch team. If you are hard-working and dedicated, Vekstar LLC is a great place to work.

We are searching for a motivated Office/Administrative Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Office/Administrative Assistants can expect to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with basic bookkeeping skills.

To be a successful Office/Administrative Assistant, you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g., Sampro/QuickBooks) to process business transactions, like accounts payable, purchase orders, credit card receipts, and expense vouchers.

Responsibilities

  • Providing assistance and support to the Accounting Department.
  • Greet visitors and point them in the right direction, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment.
  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner.
  • Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages.
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Receive deliveries.
  • Assist in processing transactions for accounts payable.

Requirements and skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Clerical, secretarial, or office experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, bookkeeping software, and strong typing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment.
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Aptitude for numbers.
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
