POSITION SUMMARY:
Performsand executes the Real Property and/or Engineering Support functions andsupervises housing staff of 3 personnel\.
RealProperty summary:Maintains records ofall real property, such as construction data, surveys,gifts, acquisitions, leases, easements,in\-grants, out\-grants, land purchases, demolition, etc\. for the installationand supported off\-base sites\.Research,extract and compile data for use in recurring and nonrecurring reports andprovide status updates\. Performs all Space Utilization functions and tracksfacilityutilization updating ACES or theappropriate system of any changes\.Conductsinformal studies of Air Force and Vectrus procedures and processes\. Utilizespreadsheets to enter, revise, sort, calculate and retrieve data for reports\.Strong working knowledge of Air Force Real Property and Engineering Programsand requirements\.Mustbe customer oriented and provide quality service to the Air Force customers\.
HousingSummary:Provides overall functional andmanagerial leadership to an assigned staff of three personnel providingoff\-base military family housing assistance and furnishings management supportto the Maxwell/Gunter AFB community\. Interfaces with customer\-civilengineering/contracting management personnel as required, resolvingMaxwell/Gunter AFB housing management customer support issues\.Accomplishes other leadership andadministrative tasks as required to ensure effective contractor housing andfurnishings management customer support to Maxwell/Gunter AFB\.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
1\. Perform facility inventories and surveys IAW set schedules\.
2\. Perform data analysis and prepare statistical and summary reports as required\. Interfaces with all MAFB organizations as required for Real Property activities\. Track organizational use of facilities\.
3\. Present recommendations to the Space Utilization Working Group \(SUWG\) and Facility Board\. Act as a liaison between operations, engineering and other administrative support organizations on real property issues\.
4\. Prepares leases, easements, etc\. for signature of the approved authority delegation\. \.
5\. Process completed work orders and DD1354s\. Updates ACES\-RP records and coordinates on work orders involving capital improvement\.
6\. Apply and interpret the Air Force Instruction \(AFI\) guidelines for Real Property and prepare any necessary documentation for project activities\.
7\. Assist the Operations Department with materials billing so as to capture all Real Property Identifed equipment and inform Operations Engineering so as to capture the data in Builder\.
8\. Assist the Engineering department with:

  • Maintain the Project Management database in ACES for design, construction inspection and closeout\.
  • Maintain ACES database for Installation Asset Management and Engineering\.
  • Conduct IWIMS labor inputs for Installation Asset Management and Engineering\.
  • Process submittals for construction inspection\.
  • Assist with project closeout and conduct filing in the official electronic record\.
9\. Provides off\-base housing referral services\.
10\. Develops and maintains information on the Maxwell AFB Housing, AETC, and Military Home\-front websites\. Conducts semi\-annual verification of storage authorization with JPPSO\. Manages housing 5 year furniture plan\.
Provides inputs and attends Maxwell/Gunter AFB's Family Advocacy Council, Relocation Assistance Coordinating Committee and Transition Assistance Coordinating Committee meetings and dorm councils/committees\.
11\. Processes Basic Allowance for Housing \(BAH\) actions through the Finance office\.
12\. Assists in the development and maintenance of Maxwell/Gunter AFB Supplements to AFI32\-6001 \(Housing\) and AFI32\-6005 \(Dormitories\)\. Provides the required supplements to dormitory occupants \(the dormitory occupant guidelines\)\.
13\. Performs other duties and assignments as required\.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work conditions range from an office environmentwhere there is little to no physical discomfort, to a field environment whereinclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature,wind, rain, etc\. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazardsprevail\. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shockhazards\. May be required to work a flexible work schedule and alternating workdays to meet mission and customer requirements\. Occasional business travel required\.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Activities range from an office environment withextended sitting demands to a field environment with climbing, standing,stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands\. Mayoccasionally be required to lift objects whose weight exceeds 30 pounds\.Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depthperception, and the ability to adjust and focus\.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required\.
Bachelor'sdegree \(or lesser degree with of 10 years of related AF experience\)
Experience :
3 years of AirForce Real Property and/or Engineering support experience\. Demonstratedknowledge and performance
in Air Force Real Property and/or Engineering functions\.Demonstrate knowledge of ACES or the current accountable
records system asconfirmed by resume experience and discussing with previous employer\(s\)\.
Skills :
Ability to input/extract data, prepare reports, and transmit documents\. Possess strongcomputer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\. Possess excellentoral, written, and communication skills in the English language\. Possess great attentionto detail and ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast\-pacedenvironment\. Ability to deal with customers and company employees in courteous,professional, and effective manner\. Ability to address a wide variety ofaudiences\. Ability to work extended periods of times on a computer\.
