VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Configuration Management to work in the Albuquerque, NM area.




Job Summary: Provide Configuration Management support services for the Air Force Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Weapon System.




Requirements:






+ Secret Clearance Required






Education and Experience:






+ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline




+ Certification in Configuration Management




+ Experience or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI, CFR, ISO 9001, or ISO 10007






Essential Duties:






+ Provide system-of-systems configuration management support to the functions of: planning, configuration identification, configuration control/changemanagement, configuration status accounting, configuration verification and audit, and data management.




+ Assist the government in developing and administering configuration management plans, maintaining design traceability and integrity, convening and managing change boards, and preparing for and attending forums and events such as, but not limited to:Integrated Project Teams (IPT), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).




+ Perform onsite technical surveys to document communication capabilities of airborne, fixed site, and mobile/transportable platforms.




+ Interface with Air Force, Navy and Joint organizations to, research, analyze, and validate platform documentation.




+ Participate in the development of leadership information packages, presentation of concepts, and the development of briefings and technical data packages that will aid senior leader and stakeholder decision making.






Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:






+ Should have progressive experience in engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices and planning, configuration of software and hardware, and knowledge of design audits to enable Government ownership of the program technical baseline.




+ Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.




+ Proficient Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.




+ Ability to understand complex technical concepts, data, and information on communications systems across Air Force airborne and ground-based platforms, fixed facilities and mobile/transportable support, as well as the ability to apply these technical concepts to interpret, analyze, and document the AN/USQ-225.




+ Knowledge of command control and communication systems as well as theory as it pertains to airborne, land based/terrestrial, and satellite communications systems Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense environment.




+ Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits




+ Experience performing the technical and administrative activities necessary to configuration data management for inventory control, version control, and data integrity




+ Experience producing release notes and configuration management reports




+ Experience in the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board (CCB) and change control documentation




+ Experience in Tracking Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Problem Reports (PRs)




+ Experience developing technical data packages and briefings




+ Understanding of all phases of the hardware and software development life cycle




+ Strong attention to detail
