Position Summary

Vector Media is seeking a dynamic, full-time Senior Director of Sales Operations to our team in the New York City area. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this is a dynamic role which partners with leadership and our sales teams to understand goals and challenges, while ensuring the alignment of key initiatives. This role is also responsible for collaborating with stakeholders from other departments to create operational efficiencies, while defining, tracking and analyzing key success metrics. This role will be leading the build out, implementation and operations of our digital integration and programmatic efforts, including outside partner communication and sales strategy. As such, this role requires a collaborative, disciplined individual with a passion for sales goals through high volumes of activity.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 5+ years of sales/revenue operations or similar consultative leadership roles in Marketing & Advertising. Experience in outdoor advertising, media sales, or SAAS strongly preferred. 

  • Deep understanding of Outdoor Advertising Industry and knowledge of competitive and relevant market data. Industry relationships are a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce CRM.

  • Project management capabilities, including attention to detail involving projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • High energy, a positive attitude, and a great work ethic.

  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative, fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment.

  • Experience with large OOH network roll out, as well as DOOH and programmatic is a plus.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement all operational processes that impact the productivity of the sales team and efficiency of the lead to proposal to contract cycle.

  • Leads communication with CRO and sales leadership to analyze and employ the direction of the sales engine.

  • Support CRO using high level communication skills with key stakeholders internally and externally resulting in the growth of strong partnerships.

  • Drive sales operational alignment across the organization including Finance, Operations, Sales and, Marketing to exceed annual revenue targets and KPIs.

  • Proactively drive analysis and change management to improve productivity & efficiency in the sales organization and dependencies through the company.

  • Be an effective and contributing presence in carrying forward sales strategy and vision on behalf of sales leadership across the company, including in executive level discussions.

  • Analyze forecasting data and provide insight to leadership.

  • Own the data – drive the processes and communications between all parties to ensure data is always accurate and useful.

  • Drive the design of Salesforce CRM and related business tools to allow for automation and optimize for sales user experience alongside the development team and other department heads. 

  • Manage and mentor a developing team that assists in day-to-day sales support and enablement, sales analysis, and new systems implementations.

  • Onboarding and offboarding new products and markets as needed.
