Program Manager

VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Program Manager to oversee a staff augmentation contract in support of Naval Test Wing Atlantic operations.

Job Summary:

The Program Manager reports directly to the Account Leader and provides leadership, performance, management, and delivery on the NTWL support contract within VectorCSP's Department of Defense contract portfolio in accordance with VectorCSP's corporate vision: To be the dominant force for good in U.S. Government contracting.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced degree preferred
• No less than 8 years of program-related experience and prior management experience, with an emphasis on demonstrated leadership
• PMP Desired
• Experience supporting business development and contract transition initiatives preferred
• USN NAVAIR and Naval Test Wing Atlantic experience preferred

Essential Duties:

• The Program Manager (PM) has full authority to act for the contractor on all matters relating to daily operation of the NTWL contract.
• The PM provides direct supervisory support to fielded VectorCSP team members, as well as input and guidance to NTWL subcontractor personnel, if applicable.
• Acts as overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort.
• Manages efforts of cross-echelon team(s) to include Contractors at multiple locations.
• Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues, regularly brief senior leadership on program status and milestones.
• Oversee Contractor personnel program or project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
• Manage acquisition and employment of program or project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program or project with respect to contract requirements.

• Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks to contract health
• Read, analyze, and interpret customer-related journals, reports, and documents
• Communicate professionally and persuasively in verbal and written communications to appropriately shape the thinking of others
• Communicate corporate messages effectively and develop buy-in for corporate initiatives
• Effectively present information to corporate leadership, teammates, and customer stakeholders
• Apply principles of business or scientific/engineering thinking to a wide range of intellectual, and practical problems
• Effectively present information to company leadership, teammates, and customer stakeholders
• Apply principles of business or scientific/engineering thinking to a wide range of intellectual, and practical problems
• Provide technical expertise and advice to improve and streamline enterprise business processes
