continuity and serve as coordinator on projects with responsibility for technical, analytical, or project direction of the work group working with mid to senior level technical or management specialists within the customer organization. Perform tasks that are somewhat complex & that may require application across a range of the knowledge base relating to his/her field of specialization. Assist on all types of construction projects including all aspects of the project procedure: pre-construction programming and estimation, construction representative, coordinating work with Contractors' personnel and representatives; ensure timely and satisfactory accomplishment of all contracts.
Ensure that all construction inspection is accomplished in accordance with governing plans, specifications and in accordance with the terms of the contract, plans and specifications, and supervise construction for compliance and the contract documents. Assist in design and construction-related services, not connected with a specific construction project. The services may consist of developing design criteria, fact-finding studies, surveys, and investigations, Document Development Services such as design guide, standards and policy documents; prototype designs; technical studies/review, analysis; cost studies; design manuals; Planning, Programming, Studies, etc.
and comprehensive/master planning, Installation Development Plans, and Area Development Plans, that may include web page design and graphics development. Participate in research efforts in support of studies & analyses. Lead presentation and discussion of work approaches to meet customer needs.
Develop budgets with preliminary plan information and professional knowledge and expertise. Recognize possible issues and/or inconsistencies and communicate them. Provide a thorough and carefully thought out preliminary cost estimate based on client provided documents and interviews.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Building and Construction: Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
