Job Description Description As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be directly involved in the development and delivery of engine systems supporting a variety of customers and customer needs. You will be involved in the development, decomposition, verification and validation of requirements for the historic Test Stand 4670 at Marshall Space Flight Center. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities • Participate in the requirements development for rocket engine test stands with multiple customers • Develop, manage and allocate requirements & interfaces and ensure requirements are correctly linked • Carry out systems engineering activities in accordance with system engineering standards and practices • Ensure all aspects of the system are working to the correct configuration including drawings, interface control documents, and the design description documents • Review verification records (test plans, test reports, analysis reports, inspection reports, etc.) to ensure the appropriate rigor • Development and configuration management of products across the product life cycle • Act as the negotiator between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests in order to make sure the system as a whole is optimized • Effectively communicate development status, risks, opportunities, and challenges Qualifications • Minimum of a B.S.

degree in engineering or other technical field • 2+ years systems engineering experience • Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies • Good communication and writing skills, ability to work effectively in teams, demonstrated execution and coordination skills • Demonstrated ability to work in a team • Exhibited ability to adapt in changing environment • Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, DNG/RQM or similar • Desire to work in development, test and production phases of a product lifecycle • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to work onsite at Redstone Arsenal Desired • Experience in reliability, maintainability and supportability analysis and execution • System Safety analysis experience including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Functional Hazard Analysis • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA • Demonstrated configuration management experience
