Job Description

Varada Consulting, LLC is seeking full-time Deputy OEHRM Integrations Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronics Health Records Modernization Program (EHRM). *This is a full-time work from home/remote position*

 

This 10 year, $22.3 billion dollar program’s mission is to provide IT infrastructure modernizations and systems delivery support to the VA’s IT systems that address some of the VA’s top priorities, including improving the efficiency of both claims processing and Veteran’s overall experiences when communicating with VA.

 

Job Duties:

Support the Office of Electronic Health Records Modernization (OEHRM) critical integration between Cerner, VA and non-VA systems using HealthShare HealthConnect. Candidate will lead a Cerner integration project from a project manager standpoint by being a trusted advisor to the client and will leverage knowledge and experience in project management, risk identification, executive reporting, organization skills and agile framework. Ensure efficient analyst coordination and collaboration through meeting set up and management and knowledge management best practices.  Support coordination with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) at the OEHRM and OIT program project integration levels.

 

 Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
  • HealthShare HealthConnect experience is required
  • Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Must have experience with IT deployment and post deployment efforts
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies  
  • Able to identify the steps (technical and functional) to transition users from the legacy application to a new application
  • able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on ensuring the execution of the transition steps identified for each legacy application
  • Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA, DoD or both
  • Experience support Electronic Health Records programs
