Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Product Planning Costing Analyst to maximize the EBITDA across all assigned products and departures and enter and maintain product costs and other data in the company’s internal systems. The person will report to the Sr. Director of Revenue and must have intermediate Excel skills, be very detailed, and a team player. Working with the Revenue team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Product Cost of Sales is accurate and that promotional codes are properly maintained in the reservations system. The candidate for the role must have the ability to work in fast pace environment and meet corporate deadlines.

List of Responsibilities
  • Maintain Product costings and passenger forecasts to feed forecast process.
  • Data Entry in the company’s internal systems including the loading and testing of products. (Costings+, CMS and AS-400)
  • Build Product discounts into reservation system.
  • Responsible for P&L reporting for Ocean products and associations on-tour activities
  • Prepare & manage Operational Turnovers
  • Conduct variance calculations against historical data.
  • Manage Web at a Glance, day by day itineraries
  • Proof all mail pieces related to the product, support accuracy of web content
  • Review Pricing grids to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide support to Contact Center team for inventory related questions.
  • Assist in the inventory control of the available cabin categories.
  • Provide Product Administrative support to buyer(s) and/or programs assigned
  • Assist buyer & attend Creative Turnovers as well as PPD meetings.
  • Monitor and action the quality of products assigned
  • Create & maintain flow charts and get flight department sign off
  • Create & track, as needed, hotel space addendums and service agreements
  • Support buyer(s), as needed, in securing additional hotel or ground space
  • Maintain contract status and vendor contact sheets
  • Create and circulate any change forms as required
  • Monitor and action TD/CD reports, Passenger quality scores in working closely with vendors and buyers assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Associates degree or High School Diploma and currently attending college or technical school.
  • Preferred fields of study are Information Systems, Accounting, or other business studies.
  • A “can do” hands-on attitude
  • Intermediate to Excel Skills
  • Detail oriented; fast paced individual
  • 1 year of business experience preferred but entry level candidates will be considered
