Vanguard Eldercare LLC (and associated medical groups) (VGE), a privately held healthcare organization, is the leading provider of advanced, on-site, Long Term Care, neuro-behavioral health care in the Central Midwest. VGE operates in three contiguous states and will be adding at least one additional state this calendar year.
Due to rapid and sustained growth, VGE is searching for an experienced and successful Chief Operating Officer (COO) to assume responsibility for all VGE service areas throughout existing and new markets. The COO will be responsible for in-market revenue. This position shall have oversight and authority for all market-based operations and P&L’s. The COO will be a member of the Executive Committee and report directly to the VGE CEO.
- Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience at an executive level as a medical group/practice senior manager for medium to large organization(s).
- Medical institutional experience, especially LTC (preferred).
- Proven ability to successfully and positively relate to clinicians.
- Proven capability to manage sales and service staff.
- Technology savvy.
- Manage geographically dispersed markets.
- Willingness to travel.

Base compensation is highly competitive with full benefits, relocation allowance and a very strong, performance-based, bonus program. The position is equity eligible.
Based in Crown Point, Indiana, the Corporate office is located thirty minutes from Chicago.
